Sheridan Patterson Center is proud to announce a new program to our organization. We will be introducing our Teen Parent/Infant Program in 2012. This unique program is designed to support teen mothers in foster care and/or those who may be aging out of the foster care system, providing them with holistic psychotherapeutic treatment, personal and professional development.
This comprehensive program encompasses all of the Teen Parents needs as well as his/her infants, including an array of innovative services for the Teen Parents pre-schooler’s to further facilitate and encourage bonding of parent and child. This program provides opportunities for the young parent to actualize utilization of practical parenting skills. Services are offered at Sheridan Patterson Center for Holistic Family Services, Inc. where an array of comprehensive services are provided to the parents in five core competency areas – Clinical Services and Psycho-Spiritual Development, Personal and Social Skills, Independent Living Skills, Parenting Skills, and Workforce Development Skills. Services for Teens and their pre-schooler’s include holistic expressive therapy in a living green environment.
