Support Our
International Giving
Circle Ministry
Dear Friends:
The past four years we have been sending gift boxes filled with school supplies, toiletries and toys to our children in the village of Abira, Kumasi, Ghana. In the past, we've sent hundreds of gift filled boxes to Ghana. Together in the spirit of Ujima-Collective Work and Responsibility- our foster parents, foster children, staff and friends pack adn qraop gift filled shoe boxes sending personal notes, photographs and lots of goodwill to our little sisters and brothers of Africa. We are pleased that friends, families and supporters like you, will be joining us in this effort.
If you would like to donate to the Giving Circle Ministry, and help us continue to carry on the Sheridan Patterson Center mission for the Abira Village, please consider donating on-line. All proceeds will go toward the purchase of additional gift items and shipping costs.
If you like to join us and donated a completed shoe box, we will continue to receive boxes until Friday, October 7, 2010. Our anticipated shipping date for our shoeboxes is Friday, October 13, 2010. For more information on ideas of how to pack you shoebox, click here.
Should you need any assistance with delivering your shoe boxes or have other questions, please feel free to contact the office at (410) 594-7141.
Thank you in advance for your generosity and support.
