The Green Bag

The Green Bag Project
The GREEN Bag Project, (formerly known as the Shoebox Ministry) is our international ministry project started in 2006. At that time, SPC adopted the Village of Abira in Kumasi, Ghana. Annually, we ship shoe boxes filled with school supplies, small toys and hygiene products.
The GREEN Bag’s 2010 efforts resulted in sending over 200 shoeboxes to the Village of Abira for our Christmas giving. We included letters from our (foster) children, foster parents and staff. We received responses from the children and youth of Abira, thanking us for the school supplies and informing us of a need for laptops to assist them with obtaining higher education. This year we aspire to fulfill their request for laptops with the intention of assisting with setting up a computer lab in their school. Therefore, our agencies with the commitment and support of our Treatment Foster Parents and staff have generously agreed to make monetary donations towards the purchase of laptops for Abira. Donations for the school supplies, toiletries and toys for Christmas are also welcomed. Collection boxes for your donations are located at the office of SPC . You can join us in these efforts by donating a laptop(s), school supplies or making a monetary donation to :
